Lexington is an award-winning contract caterer focused on providing exceptional food and service. We are seeking friendly Waiting Staff to take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure guests have a great dining experience.

You will work with kitchen staff to deliver prompt, courteous service and maintain standards in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are available within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is advantageous
• Friendly, approachable with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic numeracy for handling payments
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene best practices
• Flexibility to work varied shifts

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers warmly and professionally
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay to kitchen/bar team
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Attend to customer needs and respond to enquiries or special requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations
• Process payments and handle cash or card transactions when required
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist with setup and closing duties as needed
