A seafood restaurant on the west coast of Scotland is seeking Waiting Staff to join their team. Overview

LOCH FYNE OYSTERS LTD is located in stunning surroundings on the west coast of Scotland at CLACHAN, CAIRNDOW. Our award-winning LOCH FYNE OYSTER BAR has built a reputation as one of Scotland's very best seafood restaurants, featuring the highest quality seafood indigenous to Argyll. POSITION: WAITING STAFF (FRONT OF HOUSE)

CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary (Up to 31st October 2025)

LOCATION: Loch Fyne Oysters Ltd, Clachan, Cairndow, Argyll, PA26 8BL

Responsibilities
  • Duties include: taking customer orders, serving food and drink, clearing and resetting tables, cash handling and dealing with customers.
  • Work as part of a team in a busy restaurant environment with a cheerful and positive manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication.
Rates and Working Hours
  • Rate of pay: £12.25 per hour
  • Overtime: Paid at x1.5 basic hourly rate for hours over 40 per week
  • Working hours: Part-time and full-time hours available; flexible shift patterns; evening and weekend work required (no late finishes)
  • Other: Customer tips are shared between the Restaurant Team; own transport beneficial; car share/transport may be available

Requirements

The successful candidates need to have excellent customer service and communication skills, a cheerful and positive manner, ability to work well as part of a team, and the capacity to work in a busy restaurant environment. Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
