Searcys is actively seeking a professional and motivated waiting staff member to join the Allen & Overy Shearman LLP team. The role involves serving as an ambassador for the brand, delivering exceptional service to create memorable experiences for clients. The position covers front-of-house duties in the client dining room and events, supporting the Fine Dining and Hospitality Manager in daily operations. Searcys is the oldest caterer in London, offering a prestigious environment for career growth.

The waiting staff member's responsibilities include:

  • Providing high standards of food and beverage service, staff presentation, and efficiency
  • Communicating effectively with clients and managers for smooth service
  • Accurately recording drinks issued and returned for billing
  • Assisting with stocktakes of wines, spirits, soft drinks, and equipment
  • Delivering food and beverages to fine dining rooms according to SOP
  • Collaborating with supervisors/managers on menus and wine selections
  • Setting up rooms and organizing trolleys for service
  • Serving lunches, drinks, canapes, BBQs, teas, and coffees in fine dining and event spaces
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in service areas
  • Restocking beverages for the next day's service
  • Cleaning and polishing equipment for service readiness
  • Communicating with supervisors/managers about upcoming bookings

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in blue-chip client dining or 5-star hotel environments
