Job description

Job Purpose:

To provide an exceptional food and beverage service to members and their guests, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience that reflects the high standards of the private members' club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt, professional, and courteous table service at all times

• Ensure members and guests are welcomed warmly and attended to efficiently

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently answer menu queries

• Serve meals and drinks in accordance with club standards and style of service

• Set up and clear tables in a timely and discreet manner

• Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area

• Upsell food and beverage specials when appropriate

• Handle member complaints professionally and report to a supervisor when needed

• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

• Support club events, private functions, and formal dining occasions as required

Person Specification:

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a private club, hotel, or fine dining restaurant (preferred)

• Experience with high-end or personalised service standards
