The opportunity has arisen for a waiting list clerk/administrative support clerical officer to join our administrative team within the Urology Department based at Aintree Hospital.

It is expected that all applicants will have previous experience of working in the NHS, extensive knowledge of iPM and knowledge of waiting list management.

The successful candidate must be able to undertake all administrative duties, have excellent communication skills, plan own workload and work on own initiative working to strict guidelines and adhering to Trust targets.

You will be expected to be a team player and cover for your colleagues during absences.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will manage and monitor waiting lists to ensure that procedures are carried out within Trust waiting list management policies and targets.

The post holder will provide and maintain an efficient and effective administrative service, undertaking a range of administrative duties in line with local policies and procedures.

The post holder will be monitoring DM01 reports and also conduct pre-admission/pre-attendance calling to reduce DNA rates along with data cleansing exercises and validation of the waiting list.
