Cipriani London is seeking Waiters (Commis and Head Waiters) who can embody the authentic Cipriani Hospitality, with its effortless elegance.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The position of Waiter is responsible for providing excellent service to guests in a luxury setting, ensuring a positive dining experience through attentive service, a strong knowledge of the menu, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, be a team player, and possess the ability to remain motivated and flexible in a fast-paced environment. This role requires full proficiency in English, with the ability to work across various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

• Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, enthusiastic, and professional manner
• Lead the service team in ensuring smooth and efficient service during each shift
• Respond to guest inquiries in a positive, clear manner and with a professional body language
• Maintain a precise knowledge of the menu and suggest dishes based on guest preferences, anticipating their needs and address them promptly, before being ask
• Keep the dining area clean and organized, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests
• Clean tables and/or counters after guests finish their meals, ensuring the space is ready for the next guest
• Address guest satisfaction issues promptly, escalating any concerns to the Manager or Supervisor and assisting with resolution
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
  
  

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Full proficiencyEnglish
• Not required, but proficiency in Italian is a plus
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Waiter in luxury hotels and/or restaurants
• Strong passion for providing exceptional customer service and improving the guest experience through knowledge, empathy, and attention to detail
• Highly motivated, flexible, and willing to continuously learn and improve
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  
  

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

• Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time
• Able to lift up to 25lbs. and on a regular and continuing basis
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks
• Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment
• Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees
