Job summary

Delano London is seeking an exceptional Waiter / Waitress to join the pre-opening team based primarily in Lana Lusa, our all-day restaurant. You will create an effortless guest experience through warm, intuitive service, strong product knowledge and genuine personality.

You'll welcome guests, guide them through menus and allergens, take orders, coordinate with Culinary and Bar teams, and help shape the service culture from day one in a hotel that aims to become a neighbourhood favourite.

Qualifications

• Previous waiting experience in premium restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Warm, confident and attentive with genuine interest in people.
• Organised, quick on your feet and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative team player with clear communication.
• Flexible to work breakfast, evenings, weekends and key hospitality moments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver attentive table service from arrival through to farewell.
• Build knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens and preparation methods to guide guests.
• Take orders, make thoughtful recommendations and use product knowledge to enhance the experience.
• Manage your section with timing, table maintenance and mise en place.
• Communicate with Culinary, bar, runners and managers to ensure accuracy and flow.
• Handle POS entries and payments accurately and follow cash and company procedures.
• Follow food safety and all relevant service standards.
