About KYN

KYN is a brand-new care home company focused on offering an elevated approach to care: individualised journeys built around the needs and interests of our residents in beautiful surroundings with life-enriching practices.

KYN HURLINGHAM is our second home, opening in early 2024. It will be a 32-bedroom facility offering each resident an elegant and comfortable bedroom, communal dining and relaxation areas. We have two more care homes in development in London.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivering an exceptional catering experience for residents and their families.
• Provide room service, restaurant, and bar service, including preparing meal trays, delivering refreshments, and clearing trays after meals.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Cater to residents’ and relatives’ dietary requirements.
• Report complaints promptly to the relevant manager.
• Follow all rules and regulations regarding serving food and beverages.
• Create a nurturing environment where residents and families feel loved, safe, and secure.
• Serve alcohol responsibly, adhering to licensing laws.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Professional with high standards and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, polite, and cooperative.
• Ability to work under pressure with flexibility and consistency.
• Trustworthy, caring, adaptable, friendly, patient, and committed to excellence.
• Must be over 18 to serve alcohol.
