You will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming environment for our customers. You will play a crucial role, as the face of the company, in ensuring exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do At Pasta Evangelists

1. Ensure the standards with regards to preparation and presentation of the restaurant are adhered to at all times.
2. Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance of furnishings and equipment.
3. Understand and adhere to the company’s rules and regulations on policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
4. Ensure a safe working environment by identifying potential hazards and taking corrective action.
5. Treat company property with due care and attention.
6. Ensure you are operating world-class service standards that showcase the brand.
7. Ensure all checks are closed and posted at the end of each meal period.
8. Follow processes and procedures to reduce wastage within the restaurant.
9. Adhere to cash handling procedures set in place by the company.
10. Ensure that menus are presentable and reflect the excellence of the brand.
11. Maximize sales opportunities through excellent service and upselling techniques.
12. Handle all customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily and ensure follow-up, bringing any situations to the attention of Supervisor & General Manager.
13. Develop a culture of actively seeking feedback from customers on a regular basis.
14. Have complete and thorough menu knowledge, both food and drink.
15. Attend daily briefings and respond to any necessary changes and updates.
16. Be punctual, always following company absence and lateness procedures if unable to attend work as scheduled.
17. Support the training of new employees.
18. Adopt a “can do” culture within your team.

Who You Are

1. You are a hard-working, energetic Waiter/Waitress to work with the front of house team in our only restaurant, in the world's most iconic and luxurious department store, Harrods.
2. You have a minimum of one year restaurant experience.
3. You have the ability to work under pressure.
4. You can demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner.
5. You are able to follow all instructions and comply with food health and safety regulations.

Most recently, we’ve been busy disrupting Britain’s pizza-centric Italian takeaway market with a brand new fresh pasta takeaway concept, available on pastaevangelists.com as well as major delivery players like Deliveroo, UberEats and JustEat. With more than 40 kitchens across the UK, we’re expanding coverage to new cities on an almost weekly basis (including our first openings in Scotland and Wales!). We've also opened the UK's biggest pastificio (which, in Italian, means pasta factory, but 'pastificio' better reflects the type of fresh, artisanal pasta we produce) in Acton, West London, allowing us to make ever more exciting and ambitious pasta and sauces for our customers.
