Position: Waiter/Waitress – £15 per hour + Surplus Service Charge

Duration: Seasonal Positions - May to September

About Babington House

Set in a Grade II-listed manor built in 1705, Babington House is surrounded by 18 acres of English countryside in Somerset. Features include 33 bedrooms, a formal dining space, cricket pitch, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and Cowshed Spa.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Babington House (BA11 3RW). Your main responsibility is to ensure members have an enjoyable experience by delivering excellent service from greeting to bill payment.

Candidate Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile bar (preferred)
• Team player with good communication skills
• Punctual, reliable, trustworthy
• Sense of urgency and multitasking ability
• Passion for food and beverage
• Flexible to work opening and closing shifts

Working Hours

• Varying shifts including evenings, weekends, opens & closes
• Average 40-45 hours per week

Travel

Approx. 30 mins from Bath, 50 mins from Bristol, 10 mins from Frome (no local transport from Frome)
