Job summary

The Avon Gorge Hotel (Hotel du Vin brand) is seeking a Meetings & Events Coordinator to drive seamless events from enquiry to execution. You will liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure each event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.

You will work across business meetings, conferences, private dining and celebrations, coordinating details and managing logistics while delivering outstanding service to guests.

Qualifications

• Hospitality and events experience preferred
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Strong organisational and communication abilities

In this role, you will be at the heart of our Meetings & Events operation, helping to deliver seamless events from enquiry through to execution. From business meetings and conferences to private dining and special celebrations, you will work closely with colleagues across the hotel to ensure every event runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations. You'll be a key point of contact for clients, coordinating details, managing event logistics and ensuring exceptional service throughout the guest journey.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days. This means great flexibility if required. As meetings and events can take place throughout the day, evenings and weekends, shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.

Our Sustainability Goals:
