A residential retirement village in Watford is seeking a Customer Services Assistant to provide excellent service in the Food and Beverage team. The role includes managing reservations, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience and excellent communication skills. The Customer Services Assistant in our Food and Beverage team will be based at our Mayfield retirement village in Watford. Mayfield Watford is part of a buzzing residential neighbourhood which includes facilities such as a shop, food and beverage outlet, leisure club and a beautiful riverside park. Mayfield villages comprises owners who permanently reside on site within their own private homes and who pay a management fee for the upkeep of their properties and access to services on site. In addition the village hosts external customers and this role is responsible for providing a first class, positive experience for all.
The role offers training and development through our Mayfield Academy to help you build on your skills and develop your career in hospitality.
As our Customer Services Assistant in our Food and Beverage outlets, you’ll ensure that Mayfield owners and External Customers have the highest quality of service and experience. Thanks to you, owners and the guests who come to enjoy the food at our "M Bar & Kitchen" will get a warm welcome and a smooth, seamless service. Whether you’re taking reservations, seating guests, advising on the menu, serving afternoon tea, promoting the village and our luxury spa, or sharing a joke with regulars, you’ll deliver an exceptional service. You’ll also help service our guest suites, answer owners’ enquiries, keep an eye on stock levels, help set up for special events, and keep everywhere looking scrupulously clean.
