Waiter / Waitress

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant pizzeria team. You’ll be the face of our restaurant, delivering friendly, efficient service and ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude as they enter the restaurant.
2. Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary options.
3. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
4. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
5. Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
6. Clear tables, reset for the next guests, and maintain cleanliness and order in the dining area.
7. Handle payments and process bills efficiently and accurately.
8. Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
9. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
10. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential – training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, energetic, and approachable personality.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule – must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations is an advantage.

• Salary: £13 – £16 hourly
