Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage, especially wine, is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Job Description

  • Greet clients and guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanour, providing assistance as needed.
  • Anticipate the needs of clients and guests, proactively addressing any requests or concerns to enhance their experience.
  • Handle client inquiries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism and attention to detail. Ensuring all enquiries are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Represent both companies withprofessionalism and integrity at all times, embodying our commitment to excellence in hospitality.
  • Set up and arrange event spaces according to client specifications, ensuring all tables, chairs, linens, and tableware are impeccably presented.
  • Efficiently serve food and beverages during meetings, conferences, and corporate events, adhering to established service standards.
  • Monitor food and beverage supplies throughout the event, replenishing items as necessary to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and catering staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining the flow of service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the breakdown and cleaning of event spaces post-event.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of clients, guests, and staff.

Qualifications

  • Great work ethic and an even greater smile
  • Experience in either similar fast paced corporate environment or fine dining/hotel background
  • Customer focused with a passion for offering outstanding service
  • Perpetuates company philosophy and culture
  • You thrive working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Good memory and attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage - wine knowledge an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
  • Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry
  • Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
