Main duties and responsibilities

• Be familiar with the menu and beverage list and to be able to make recommendations accordingly.
• Welcome each guest in a warm and friendly manner and provide them with a memorable dining experience at The Berkeley.
• Take drinks and food order to the departmental standards and serve them correctly, providing the guest with the exact cutlery and Mise en place.
• Handle cash and credit cards after the guest has requested the bill, ensuring that all items are posted and the correct change/receipt will be handed out.
• Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
