The Royal Academy of Arts (Members only area) in London is seeking an Experienced Waiter to join the Sodexo team to deliver a world class guest experience. You will provide attentive, courteous, and personalised service in a premium environment within Burlington House.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will ensure guests receive prompt, professional service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hospitality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a waiter role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail.
• Polished, professional appearance and attitude.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat members and guests warmly and professionally.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, making knowledgeable recommendations.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests with discretion.
• Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and other FOH colleagues to ensure smooth service flow.
• Participate in pre-service briefings and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
• Maintain clear and polite communication with members and team members alike.
• Set and clear tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
• Follow all hygiene, health, and safety protocols diligently.
• Assist with side work such as polishing cutlery, refilling condiments, and restocking supplies.

As a Waiter in a premium members-only venue, you are responsible for delivering attentive, courteous, and personalised table service that enhances the overall guest experience.
