Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Nuneaton. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00, with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Offering an excellent basic salary with an OTE of up to £31,000 plus benefits.

A Parts Advisor plays a key role, interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service, and customers. You will be involved in supplying VW parts to the public, trade customers, and our workshops. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with experience and a passion for providing exceptional customer service for a leading car brand.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work involves both behind-the-scenes tasks like receiving deliveries and front desk customer service.
• Pre-picking parts for workshop job cards, customer orders, and checking stock availability.
• Develop customer relationships via phone, walk-ins, and online enquiries, providing product knowledge and creating a positive first impression.
• Replenish consumables and service parts regularly to ensure swift service to workshops and customers.
• Handle warranty claims related to parts and complete all administrative tasks accurately, including customer records and invoicing.
• Develop knowledge of VW products to understand vehicle parts and their functions.

About you

• Previous experience as a parts advisor in a dealership or motor factor knowledge in a similar role is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and a good understanding of cars are also valued.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
• Proactive, sales-driven, and committed to high customer service standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
