A security-focused company is looking for a Vulnerability Manager in the United Kingdom to oversee vulnerability assessments in a hybrid role.   • Organise, scope, and facilitate ITHC regression testing.
  • Communicate and report technical vulnerabilities to non-technical audiences.
  • Translate vulnerabilities into threats and risks.
  • Collaborate with third-party Pen Testing partners to understand and manage findings.
  • Identify remediation dependencies and establish prioritisation plans.
  • Work with vulnerability owners to recommend remediation, containment, or mitigating controls.
  • Create risk acceptance reports when remediation isn't feasible in the short to medium term.

Job description

Job Title: Vulnerability Manager

Whitehall Resources is seeking a Vulnerability Manager for a hybrid role based in Cumbria. The position requires 2 days per week onsite, with the remainder remote, for an initial 6-month contract.

Important: Candidates must hold SC CLEARANCE. This role is inside IR35.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide remediation recommendations, monitor activities, report progress, and provide evidence for closure.
