The Opportunity

As part of our continuous improvement and expansion of the vulnerability management function, we are seeking a highly motivated Vulnerability Management Data Analyst to join our Global Security Operations Centre. This permanent, hybrid role is based out of our London office and reports to the Threat & Vulnerability Manager.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening QBE’s cyber resilience by turning complex security data into meaningful insights. This role will directly support the identification, prioritisation, remediation and reporting of vulnerabilities—helping QBE stay ahead of emerging threats.

Your New Role

As a Vulnerability Management Data Analyst, you’ll collaborate with teams across security engineering, vulnerability management, service management, cyber governance, risk and divisional consultancy to ensure data accuracy, develop dashboards and reports, and support decision-making through clear and concise analysis.

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working with data, solving problems, and making a tangible impact on QBE’s risk minimisation efforts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and metrics to support vulnerability identification, management and remediation activities
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application and governance teams to support vulnerability data quality
  • Ensure a risk-based approach is applied when prioritising vulnerabilities
  • Analyse vulnerability data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends and high-risk issues
  • Provide clear, actionable insights from vulnerability data
  • Support measurement of remediation effectiveness and progress tracking
  • Help define and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Automate manual data handling and reporting tasks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the vulnerability management lifecycle
  • Participate in audits and compliance activities
  • Document key vulnerability management data quality processes and decisions
  • Provide recommendations for updates to vulnerability management processes
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a point of reference to guide and advise others on best practice
About You

You’ll bring a solid foundation in data analysis, ideally within cybersecurity, risk or IT operations, with experience in:

  • Using data tools such as PowerBI, SQL and ServiceNow Reporting
  • Working with vulnerability management tools (e.g. Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
  • Understanding vulnerability management processes and security frameworks
  • Automating data collection and reporting using Python or PowerShell
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs and KRIs
  • Communicating complex technical data to non-technical audiences
  • Creating and maintaining clear documentation of data management processes
