Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Front end Vue Engineer for a hybrid role in Central London. You will join a small team of 10 on a brand new AI-focused product, designing and building scalable Vue applications with a focus on performance and user experience.

You will work closely with back-end developers and contribute to a company-wide Vue UI library, staying current with the latest frontend trends and testing with Vitest/Playwright.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable SPA using VueJS.
• Strong understanding of Vuex/Pinia state management.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and modern frontend tooling (Vite, Rollup).
• Experience with AI-assisted development or prompt engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge of trading/broker platforms is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem.
• Own and build high-traffic applications focusing on speed and UX.
• Identify and implement improvements to architecture, performance and code quality.
• Collaborate with peers to plan and organize large-scale projects.
• Contribute to and maintain the Vue UI Component Library.

Description

• Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem
• Owning and building high-traffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience
• Proactively identifying and implementing improvements to architecture, performance and code quality
• Collaborating with colleagues and peers to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects
• Contribute and help maintain the company-wide Vue UI Component Library
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI/UX designs effectively.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to industry standards.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and front-end technologies.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and implement project requirements.

Profile

Must haves:
