Global Investment Banking firm seeks a VP/SVP/ED/Principal Engineer Level Software Engineer.
In this role, you will build the firm's next- cross-asset risk calculation system utilising a highly scalable Java Cloud-based architecture. Leading various engineering activities, including design decisions regarding the technical direction of the platform with short, medium, and long-term changes, with a key focus on public cloud onboarding.
The platform is a Greenfield build using modern technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Solace, Apache Ignite. The platform runs in a hybrid mode both on-premises and in AWS utilising technologies such as EKS, S3, FSX.
