Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join its Latency Sensitive Electronic Trading (LSET) team in London. You will focus on C/C++ components, working with a broader development group to deliver low-latency trading services across multiple markets.

The role requires proven C/C++ development, familiarity with Linux, and an interest in high-performance, high-throughput environments. A flexible, agile mindset and collaboration across teams are essential for success in this hybrid London

Qualifications

Proven C/C++ development experience.
Experience with financial markets.
Experience of order entry gateway development.
Knowledge of Linux.
Understanding of network protocols is beneficial.
Experience with Kernel development is beneficial.
Some scripting knowledge.
Understanding of FPGAs is useful.
Is motivated by working in a high performing team.
Is flexible to change work streams as business priorities change.
Candidates should enjoy working in an agile development environment.
