Job Description

VP/Senior Associate - Project Finance Credit Analyst

  • Perform independent credit reviews and present recommendations to decision-makers. This includes analyzing financial statements, reviewing technical and market reports, and identifying core risks and opportunities. Assessments may involve new clients, increased facilities, amendments to existing deals, restructurings, and annual reviews.
  • Collaborate with deal originators, relationship teams, product specialists, and clients to shape financing structures that meet both commercial and risk management objectives.
  • Monitor existing credit exposures, proactively identifying any emerging risks, and ensure that all internal stakeholders and regulatory obligations are kept informed and satisfied.
  • Carry out in-depth research on clients, industries, and markets to provide context-rich assessments. Apply sound judgement to ensure all relevant factors are considered, including stress testing of financial forecasts and models.

The Successful Applicant

Financial Services

  • Proven experience in credit risk within infrastructure and project finance, including the renewable energy sector, with solid technical knowledge. Familiarity with the UK and US markets is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the confidence to challenge constructively and clearly justify your credit opinions.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, decision-making ability, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative approach combined with genuine enthusiasm for the sectors we support.
