Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Vice President in London within the Commodities Quantitative Trading and Research team. You will support global base and precious metals businesses, applying advanced quantitative skills to influence trading strategies and business outcomes.

You will work in a front office environment, collaborating with traders and sales teams to innovate and implement pricing models, risk management solutions, and analytical tooling in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Advanced graduate degree in a quantitative field with strong mathematical modeling and implementation.
• Front office trading experience, preferably commodities or FX.
• Proficiency in derivatives pricing models and hedging techniques.
• Strong programming skills across multiple languages.
• Business-driven with excellent communication and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing models and risk management strategies for base and precious metals trading.
• Implement models within quantitative libraries and trading/risk platforms with thorough testing and documentation.
• Provide analytical support to internal clients by troubleshooting model issues.
• Enhance and maintain the risk management platform used by traders to hedge trades and aggregate positions.
• Collaborate with trading and sales teams to address challenges and identify opportunities.
