Job summary

J.P. Morgan in London invites a Vice President to join the Commodities Quantitative Trading and Research team.

You will support our global base and precious metals businesses, applying advanced quantitative methods to inform trading decisions and risk management in a front-office environment. Working with a collaborative team, you will develop pricing models, implement them in trading and risk platforms, test thoroughly, and provide analytics to traders and sales.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field with strong mathematical modeling.
• Experience in a front office trading environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in derivatives pricing and hedging techniques.
• Strong programming skills across multiple languages and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing models and risk management strategies for metals trading.
• Implement models within quantitative libraries and trading/risk platforms with thorough testing.
• Provide analytical support and troubleshoot model-related issues for internal clients.
• Enhance and maintain the risk management platform used by traders.
• Collaborate closely with trading and sales teams to identify opportunities.
