Job summary

Unit4 is seeking a VP, Product & Engineering to lead the Product & Engineering organization for Coda and FP&A, owning both product management and engineering end to end, including team, architecture, delivery velocity, and roadmap.

Reporting to the General Manager of Coda & FP&A, you will lead a global team of ~70 people, driving strategy, modernization, and customer-focused outcomes across diverse markets and customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering leadership, with experience running large orgs.
• At least 5 years managing engineering managers or multiple teams.
• Hands-on fluency in Java, C, and TypeScript or similar languages.
• Experience leading complex, global Product & Engineering initiatives.
• Experience with financial applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the Product & Engineering organization for Coda and FP&A end to end, including team, architecture, delivery and roadmap.
• Define and deliver the long-term strategy for Coda & FP&A, translating priorities into clear plans.
• Set engineering strategy and technical direction for codebases (Java, C, TypeScript).
• Establish a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with product and business priorities.
• Own product strategy and roadmap for Coda and FP&A, balancing customer needs and commercial goals.
• Lead executive sponsorship for strategic customer relationships and escalations.
• Oversee portfolio investments and OKRs, balancing debt, innovation and modernization.
• Grow, mentor, and scale the product and engineering teams, building leadership depth and career paths.
• Champion an AI strategy for the department and its impact on product and engineering.
