Job summary

HarbourVest Partners seeks a Vice President, Investment Specialist to drive growth of private credit evergreen solutions across EMEA and APAC. You will educate and engage with Private Wealth and Investor Relations teams, pitch to clients, and collaborate with internal partners to win new business.

The role requires deep knowledge of private markets, exceptional presentation skills, and the ability to multi-task with little supervision. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in investment or product roles with a client-service orientation.
• MBA and CFA are preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of private market evergreen vehicles and private credit.
• Excellent presentation and client-engagement skills tailored to the audience.
• Robust relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven investment and analytical capabilities with strong written skills.
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support sales by bringing in-depth vehicle and market expertise to meetings.
• Collaborate with Private Wealth and Investor Relations to discuss private wealth prospects and institutions.
• Present market views, product capabilities, and differentiation to clients.
• Develop solutions addressing client challenges and implications for HarbourVest.
• Coordinate with teams on competitive intelligence and product evolution.
