Job summary

J.P. Morgan in London seeks an Assessments & Exercises Vice President to lead penetration testing across critical apps, platforms and the perimeter. You will design tests, evaluate controls, and drive remediation with developers and risk teams.

Successful candidates bring 5+ years of hands-on testing experience, strong security knowledge, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders and advance the firm’s cyber resilience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual penetration testing across web, mobile, thick clients, and cloud.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity risk management and incident response.
• Ability to identify systemic security risks and provide remediation recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute testing and simulations – such as penetration tests and contribute to development of assessment methodologies.
• Evaluate controls for effectiveness and impact on operational risk, and opportunities to automate evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop assessment reports with detailed findings, risk assessments and remediation recommendations.
• Utilize threat intelligence and security research to stay informed about threats and regulations and enhance assessment strategy.
