Role Overview
The Vice President of Sales Data Management will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in selling Data Management services, expanding existing accounts, and acquiring new clients (new logos) across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Data Management solutions, extensive industry connections, and a passion for building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the Data Management practice in the UK and European markets.
Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities by leveraging existing networks and industry expertise.
Account Growth: Expand and deepen relationships with existing clients, driving additional revenue and cross-selling opportunities.
Industry Engagement: Maintain a strong presence in industry forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Partnerships & Alliances: Collaborate with technology partners and ecosystem players to enhance the firms market position.
Revenue & Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and growth objectives.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate pipeline visibility, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
Collaboration with Delivery Teams: Work closely with delivery and solutions teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
Key Requirements
Experience in Selling Data Management Services: Strong expertise in Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Engineering, Master Data Management (MDM), Cloud Data Platforms, and related services.
Account Farming & Expansion: Demonstrated ability to nurture and grow existing enterprise accounts.
New Logo Acquisition: Proven success in identifying and closing new client deals.
Industry Network: Well-connected across multiple industries, including Insurance, Banking & Financial Services, and Healthcare & Life Sciences.
Consultative Selling Approach: Ability to understand client challenges and position data management solutions effectively.
Global Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a mid-to-large consulting firm or IT services company is highly desirable.
Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: Ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a strong focus on Data Management solutions.
Experience in leading sales teams in the UK and European markets.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data management solutions.
Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Technology, or related fields.
