Meaningful Work From Day One

The Managing Director - UK/Ireland is first and foremost a key member of the European Leadership team; leading with an enterprise mindset. In addition, they are a driver of the business strategy, role model of our culture and values, and motivator of high performance across the UK & Ireland. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to co-create and execute against geography, portfolio, people and organisation plans.

What You Can Expect

Sets strategic direction for the UK & Ireland aligned to portfolio, channel and customer, people and culture priorities and global strategy; aligns resources to deliver the SNS and OI performance

Creates annual and long-term plans that build our future business and is fully accountable for the P&L across all markets, channels and accounts across the region

Lead culture, deliver against people and D&I strategies and fosters inclusion and support of community relations locally and for our industry

Manages the resource allocation and budget process, collaborates with regional teams and marketing groups on the best use of TMF funds

Represents Brown-Forman UK & Ireland in high-impact industry bodies; navigating stakeholders to ensure Brown-Forman’s voice and interest is actively represented from a public policy standpoint

What You Bring to the Table

Successful track record of delivering upon annual business plans and leadership of a cross-functional team of experts

Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive culture, through leading with values and empowerment whilst delivering results through a team

Proven record of leading in a VUCA environment and embedding a value-creation mindset throughout the organisation

Impactful and influential communicator, able to inspire others and articulate a strong vision and direction

Excels in building partnerships internally and externally, ability to set direction and align resources accordingly

Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

What Makes You Unique

  • Experience in the beverage/spirits industry is advantageous, however not required, as are further studies such as a Masters of Business Administration
