Job summary

Goldman Sachs in London seeks a Low-Latency Java Software Engineer to join the GSET Platform team, building high-performance trading infrastructure with ultra-low latency and reliability requirements.

You will collaborate with global teams, contribute across requirements, design, implementation, testing and monitoring, and help drive the full product lifecycle in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Java programming skills, ideally in a real-time low latency / zero GC environment.
• Hands-on experience writing robust, automated unit and integration test suites to ensure code reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-performance, high-availability, high-capacity, yet nimble and adaptive platforms satisfying a range of business needs.
• Work in partnership with the wider engineering & product teams to design and implement best-in-class solutions.
• Work closely with our counterpart teams globally to ensure we're building features and systems that can be reused and leveraging work and experience from the other regions.
