Job summary

Chatham Financial is seeking a senior professional to lead onboarding and ongoing client engagement for complex real estate loan portfolios across jurisdictions. You will translate loan data into actionable models, design workflows for reporting and covenants, and deliver dashboards highlighting risks and maturities.

You will also monitor portfolio movements, collaborate with our tech team to improve the platform, and mentor junior staff while supporting business development with the Client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in real estate finance, asset management, loan servicing, or real estate transaction law.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to extract key data from real estate source documents.
• Exposure to commercial real estate loans, with understanding of their structure, terminology, and financial covenants.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas to clients and team members.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial models, data analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new clients by translating loan data into structured, actionable models in Chatham's proprietary technology.
• Design and implement bespoke workflows to track covenant test results, loan reporting, and portfolio analytics.
• Monitor client portfolios for paydowns, drawdowns, refinancings and ensure data stays accurate and up to date.
• Prepare dashboards that display key risks, upcoming maturities, and performance trends.
• Build strong relationships with clients through regular calls and proactive insights; collaborate with technology team to enhance the platform.
• Train and mentor new team members to ensure delivery excellence and consistency.
• Provide support to the Client Engagement Team in pursuing new business opportunities, including client meetings.
