Description

Lead internal credit screening and credit application processes

Preparing screening committee memos, credit applications and discussing transactions with credit and capital markets departments with aim to achieve required approvals in a timely manner

Support the legal work stream

Supervise/monitor internal & back office processes surrounding transaction execution, including internal rating process, KYC, set up of back office systems for transaction bookings and funding processes

Preparation of presentations/pitch books for client calls and meetings

Work closely with the capital markets teams during execution of physical bookrunner roles

Work closely with and support the development of the junior team members

Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of specific LBO deals and other sponsor facing products

Develop and create relationships with individuals in sponsor client and create repeat business

Profile

String financial services track record essential

Background in origination focused leveraged finance teams essential

Strong credit and analytical skills essential

Prior experience of managing / owning sponsor client relationships will be key

Team / people management experience beneficial
