Candidate will be a part of the Know Your Client (KYC) Client Outreach Chief Operating Officer (COO) team within the Global Corporate and Investment Bank (GCIB) and Global Markets lines of business.

The Function

The Client Outreach team are the front line unit who work with clients as part of meeting Know Your Client (KYC) periodic refresh and remediation requirements. We work in close collaboration with Global Corporate and Investment Bankers and Global Markets Sales to support the Bank’s global regulatory and policy requirements as it relates Client Due Diligence (CDD) documentation collection, with support from Operations and Global Financial Crimes Risk teams.

The team identifies and develops client connections, engages client representatives to obtain KYC documentation, and acts as a coordination point for resolving issues/challenges with respect to client and country specific documentation requirements in a timely manner.

In addition to the ongoing document engagement, individuals within the team keep abreast of global regulatory change that could influence processes, and identify opportunities that enhance the client experience.

The Role

The KYC Client Outreach COO team oversee delivery of Front Line Unit (FLU) KYC data and analytics, resource capacity and client population forecasting, restriction and closure processes, client population oversight, program governance, issue remediation, culture, engagement, and training/readiness.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support data and analytical needs of the GCIB and GM front line units, providing management information relating to client outreach performance, delivery, and output
  • Understand data lineage and be comfortable using and manipulating large data sets to ensure analytics are accurate, fit for purpose, and well controlled
  • Apply data to solve problems and provide strategic insight to the FLU including views on client revenue, client valuation, and prioritization
  • Participate in resource and client population forecasting, ensuring stakeholders have real time views into forecast population and related risks
  • Support restriction and closure processes, client population governance, and business control metrics
  • Partner with colleagues in Banking, Sales, FLU COOs, FLU Change, FLU Business Controls, Operations, HR and other groups as needed
  • Embrace a collaborative and output oriented culture

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Analytical experience within the financial services industry
  • Comfortable using and manipulating large data sets to solve analytical problems and provide strategic insight
  • Excellent proficiency using Microsoft office products, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx and other analytical tools is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for motivation, collaboration and encouragement
  • Professional Demeanor: Demonstrating patience, composure, and positive attitude.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills: Thinking analytically, using diverse research skills, applying past experiences to problem resolution, developing multiple resolutions, knowing how to and where to go to resolve problems.
