Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Manchester-based engineering team. Lead the evolution of the enterprise workflow engine, design Workflow Studio tooling, and drive secure, multi-tenant platform capabilities.

You will guide architectural direction, mentor senior engineers, and ensure delivery excellence across CI/CD, testing, observability, and data architecture in a large financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Deep hands-on expertise in modern engineering stacks including Java (v17/21) and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience in workflow and decision engineering with BPMN/DMN and Camunda.
• Full-stack capability with frontend (Angular or equivalent) and middleware/streaming tech.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade platforms with SDLC discipline.

Responsibilities

• Drive evolution of the Enterprise Workflow Engine for scalable, AI-driven orchestration.
• Lead design and delivery of Workflow Studio and designer tooling for engineers and business users.
• Architect multi-tenant, modular platform components and Camunda-based orchestration.
• Drive engineering standards across CI/CD, testing, security, and data architecture.
