Job summary

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation seeks a Senior Specialist Full-Stack Engineer to join the Finance Hub in Manchester. The role spans data platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, and full lifecycle software development from requirements to build and implement.

You will define mappings, oversee Oracle ETL designs, align with the Axiom team, and lead UAT and production cutover while engaging stakeholders and managing risks.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, AI, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Experience in software development; experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Strong Python, HDFS, Oracle database knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define source-to-target mapping, lineage, and data quality rules.
• Oversee ETL design in Oracle; ensure control points (reconciliations, validations).
• Partner with Axiom team for model point alignment and submission readiness.
• Drive UAT planning, execution, and production cutover.
• Stakeholder communication, status, and risk/issue management.
