Job summary

ETRA Talent is seeking a VP – Financial Risk Transformation & Integration to lead risk workstreams across major transformation, acquisition integration and strategic change programmes within a capital markets environment.

You will move away from day-to-day risk calculations while applying your technical knowledge to design target operating models, translate risk requirements into governance and reporting, and embed risk controls across the organisation.

Are you currently working within Market Risk or Credit Risk and looking to use your technical expertise in a broader, more strategic role?

We are seeking a Financial Risk professional to lead Risk workstreams across major transformation, acquisition integration and strategic change programmes within a capital markets environment.

You will move away from day-to-day risk calculations while using your technical knowledge to:

• Integrate new businesses into the wider Risk framework
• Design and implement target operating models
• Translate risk requirements into effective frameworks, controls, governance and reporting
• Assess whether controls are operating effectively
• Develop metrics to measure whether integrations have been successfully embedded

You must have:

• Direct experience working within Market Risk or Credit Risk
• Strong capital markets and financial products knowledge
• Experience supporting large-scale change or integration programmes
• A broad understanding of market, counterparty, liquidity, model and operational risk
• Strong stakeholder management and delivery skills

This is not a traditional Project Manager position. We are looking for someone directly from a Financial Risk team who wants an exciting career move into transformation and integration.
