The primary responsibility of the VP - Finance is to lead and manage the Sands Digital Services (“SDS”) finance, accounting, and procurement functions. This is a global role for SDS and will report to the Chief Operating Officer of SDS and the Las Vegas Sands Corp. (“LVS”) EVP & CFO. This individual will partner with the COO of SDS and the SDS executive team to bring innovative thinking to business models and analytics, supporting both high-level and day-to-day responsibilities during the start-up phase of SDS and its transition to a profitable global entity.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing finance and procurement leadership on the SDS Executive Committee.
- Managing all finance and procurement functions of SDS.
- Offering strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, projections, KPIs, and resource needs.
- Preparing long-term strategic forecasts, budgets, and quarterly updates, evaluating SDS's financial performance against strategic goals.
- Partnering with sales and operations to advise on contractual commercial terms.
- Managing a Commercial Finance team to support growth and efficiency through KPI development and financial performance tracking.
- Focusing on cost and headcount control using operational and financial metrics.
- Developing and overseeing a procurement organization supporting SDS’s global operations, leveraging LVS systems and controls.
- Maintaining internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Ensuring accurate, complete accounting records in accordance with GAAP, meeting all deadlines.
- Collaborating on statutory filings with LVS Corporate Accounting and Tax departments.
- Enhancing policies and procedures to improve operations and effectiveness.
- Advising management on financial and procurement issues.
- Performing duties safely, attending work regularly, and performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Proof of work authorization/eligibility.
- BS in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications or licenses.
- 15+ years of senior financial leadership experience in a large, complex, global company.
- Expertise in budgeting, compliance, accounting, reporting, planning, and control; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Strong business partnering skills with senior management.
- Attention to detail and experience in controls and compliance.
- High service standards and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
