Job summary

Galaxy seeks an experienced EMS/SOR Developer in London to build a low-latency, high-throughput routing system. You will implement intelligent routing, work with traders to refine logic, and optimize performance under real trading conditions.

Responsibilities include ensuring system resilience, supporting production trading issues, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong Java skills and crypto market familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing routing strategies for markets (FX, crypto).
• Strong Java development background and hands-on GPU/CPU optimization exposure.
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput trading systems and real-time data feeds.
• Familiarity with cloud-based market access or hybrid deployments.
• Knowledge of market data processing and tick data analytics.
• Experience with Linux and performance profiling tools.
• Understanding of concurrency, networking, and memory management.
• Experience in DeFi or crypto space is a bonus.

You will have a proven track record of building and benchmarking execution algorithms from the ground up.Ideally, you’ve been actively engaged with the crypto markets, or have a strong curiosity about them.
