Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a VP or Senior Associate for EMEA Rates Business Management in London to partner with trading, sales and technology teams. You will drive strategic and financial objectives, enhance performance, and lead initiatives across the EMEA rates franchise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Solid understanding of Global Rates market structure and Rates product knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking with ability to present clear conclusions.
• Self-starter who can prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Disciplined approach to processes and controls.
• Energetic and capable under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute strategic and financial objectives for the EMEA Rates business.
• Partner with Rates Trading and Sales to drive the front office agenda.
• Identify opportunities to grow business and client revenues.
• Collaborate with technology to advance electronic trading and resolve challenges.
• Influence solutions to market structure changes and drive initiatives.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis.
• Prepare and communicate business strategy, performance, and priorities to senior management.
• Assist in planning revenues, headcount, expenses, and investments.
• Oversee business efficiency and controls, including budget tracking and cost management.
• Partner with Financial Controllers to develop financial reporting and MIS.
• Act as liaison between Front Office and support groups to implement initiatives.
