Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President in its Office of the Secretary within Legal to support governance and company secretarial services for EMEA subsidiaries. You will partner with senior stakeholders, including boards and executives, and lead communications with board directors.

You will work with the EMEA OTS team to deliver on strategic and operational objectives, ensuring governance standards meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Strong degree-level academic background.
• Proven ability to interact with board members and senior management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive advice to EMEA boards and senior management on governance matters.
• Oversee and deliver day-to-day corporate governance and company secretarial services for EMEA entities.
• Monitor changes in corporate law and financial services regulations and advise actions.
• Coordinate information flows to EMEA boards and draft board/committee materials.
• Lead ad hoc governance projects and corporate transactions with stakeholders.
• Act as a communication channel for EMEA board members, including non-executive directors.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction and training of board members.
• Drive governance enhancements in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Build strong relationships within the OTS and uphold Firm values.
