Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of financial products / asset classes / risk measures.
• Experience in data management with data definitions, data authorities and data quality controls.
• Understanding of Data Governance/Management principles.
• Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to present data clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal and collaborative communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop Data Management standards for ISG department focusing on data definitions, authorities, quality rules and governance.
• Develop subject matter expertise around key data governance processes and controls.
• Understand data policy requirements and catalogue data projects.
• Perform basic data modelling to support cataloguing and relationships between data entities.
• Assess data issue risks, perform root-cause analysis and define remediation plans.
• Prepare updates and metrics for data policy implementation and governance committees.
• Track initiative progress and report to senior management.
