About Our Client

Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London

Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a VP or Director - Senior Sales Manager Private Markets within the Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London.

This individual will be responsible for raising the firm's profile as a Tier 1 solutions provider to the Private Capital market in the UK and Middle East, generating new client revenues to meet sales targets. Target clients include Pure Player Private Capital firms across these regions, as well as Private Capital arms of select Asset Management and Asset Owner firms.

Key responsibilities

  1. Meet annual sales targets for a senior sales role.
  2. Develop a strategic calling plan for a defined target universe by building relationships with senior stakeholders.
  3. Create and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline through active client engagement, aiming for 100 client interactions per year, including meetings and presentations.
  4. Develop and update a sales strategy document.
  5. Collaborate with business lines and product teams to define and execute innovative solutions and messaging.
  6. Position the firm ahead of RFPs with compelling value propositions.
  7. Coordinate with SMEs, RFP teams, and management to deliver high-quality, differentiating RFP responses and sales materials.
  8. Enhance the firm's profile in the Private Markets segment by participating in industry and media events.
  9. Maintain strong relationships with relevant consultants to promote the firm's Private Markets capabilities.
  10. Work with internal teams to stay updated on products and services, ensuring segment needs are met promptly.
  11. Adhere to internal and external policies regarding sales conduct.
  12. Collaborate closely with FIC on mutual prospects.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidates will have:

  1. Proven experience in financial services and the firm's industry.
  2. Understanding of the global alternatives sector, including Liquid Hedge Funds and illiquid Private Assets.
  3. A strong sales track record in Private Markets.
  4. Leadership skills and the ability to influence global stakeholders.
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset.
  6. Experience in leading complex deals.
  7. Good market reputation.
  8. Ability to operate in a complex, transversal environment.
  9. Demonstrated adherence to management principles such as client focus, risk awareness, leadership, and innovation.
