Goldman Sachs in London seeks a seasoned Credit Risk professional to assess and manage the firm’s exposure to corporate borrowers and counterparties. You will review lending and underwriting, analyze cash flows, and ensure robust risk controls across derivatives and financing activities.

You will lead and mentor junior team members, coordinate with multiple departments, and apply rigorous analytical and regulatory standards to protect the firm’s capital while supporting business growth.

Competenze

• 5+ years of credit risk management experience, with a background in corporate credit risk.
• Experience with investment banking products including loan products and derivatives.
• Demonstrable track record of independent decision making and steering negotiations.
• Strong familiarity with regulatory rating requirements and related guidance.
• Strong documentation, analytical, presentational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise junior team members and communicate at senior levels.

Mansioni

• Assess the credit and financial strength of the firm’s corporate borrowers and counterparts using quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Review lending and underwriting transactions, determine risk appetite and regulatory ratings, and form independent views on cash flows and documentation protection.
• Perform sector analysis to assess portfolio concentrations and trends.
• Coordinate with Investment Banking/Financing, Sales & Trading, Legal, Operations and Compliance to approve derivatives business and ensure appropriate risk mitigants.
• Analyze risks inherent in lending, trading and derivative products transacted by GS.
• Develop and manage relationships with other firm areas including Global Banking & Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, Controllers, Treasury, Legal, Compliance and Engineering.
