Join to apply for the VP, Communications - EMEA role at Aristocrat.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic communication professional to join our new Global Communications & Brand team within our group Corporate Affairs function. The Vice President Communications EMEA will lead the EMEA Regional Communications team, responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication programs that support business strategy and reputation within the region.

The EMEA Regional Communications team will partner with Aristocrat Interactive and Product Madness to develop and execute global internal and external communication strategies, including media, PR, and reputation management. Reporting to the SVP, Global Communications & Brand, the VP Communications EMEA will be a core member of the Global Communications & Brand leadership team and the broader Corporate Affairs function. The role involves collaborating with senior leaders across regions to ensure effective, innovative, and best-practice communications.

The VP will manage a team of communication professionals, oversee communication projects, and ensure effective channel management and resource allocation. Responsibilities include managing media inquiries, crisis communications, and developing thought leadership programs. The role also involves supporting community engagement initiatives, measuring communication effectiveness, and contributing to corporate publications and disclosures.

Job Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and execute communication strategies within EMEA aligned with business needs and global strategies.
  2. Provide strategic advice to leaders, including the CEO of Aristocrat Interactive.
  3. Lead the development and execution of internal and external communications, media strategies, and crisis management.
  4. Manage and develop the EMEA Regional Communications team and resources.
  5. Support enterprise programs like Sustainability and Responsible Gameplay within EMEA.
  6. Manage media inquiries and issues management.
  7. Develop thought leadership programs for key leaders.
  8. Partner on community engagement initiatives ensuring alignment with corporate values.
  9. Anticipate and address emerging communication challenges.
  10. Measure communication impact using data and analytics.
  11. Prepare market materials and disclosures as needed.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in Corporate Affairs or Communications, preferably in international and complex organizations.
  • Proven success in developing and executing communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in issues management and crisis communication.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including with NGOs and internal teams.
  • Leadership experience managing teams, budgets, and resources.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills at senior levels.
