Role Description

The team is looking for an impactful, seasoned storyteller. The successful candidate will develop and deliver the right cadence of publicity and marketing in support of the team’s capabilities, profile and ultimately commerciality. A critical, strategic thinker, you’ll roll out campaigns in the most effective way – highlighting the innovative programmes, products and experiences we develop, showcasing how we connect world-class brands with our fans and the power and possibilities of live as platform.

Live Nation UK Marketing Partnerships architects, sells and manages the company’s national corporate sponsorship programmes with the world’s most recognisable brands. It’s an exciting, fast-paced team that collaborates with all facets of Live Nation’s business including festivals, venues, touring, ticketing, artists, content, media, promotions, and concert production.

You are passionate, motivated and relentlessly results-driven. A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, you’re resourceful, innovative and forward-thinking. You have a deep understanding of the brand marketing ecosystem and strong media relationships specifically with UK national and industry beat reporters covering advertising/marketing, entertainment and music. You excel at managing multiple clients and stakeholders, creating buzz worthy campaigns.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to synthesize and edit complex information and present back in a clear, concise and conversational manner.
  • Extensive UK PR/communications experience, with emphasis in B2B and advertising sectors strongly preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • A seasoned multi-tasker, able to hit deadlines actively pushing to keep projects on track

What the role includes

  • Follow and implement a public relations, comms and marketing strategy to position Live Nation as the premier music marketing partner for brands and agencies – earned and paid
  • Work directly with our existing brand partners, specifically the senior communications leads, on launches as well as to develop specialised PR programmes for an array of target audiences
  • Interface with executives, leaders, and key employees across the department and wider business
  • Produce key messages, talking points, press releases, one pagers, presentations/keynotes, Q&As, thought leadership pieces, bylined articles, industry award submissions and all other communications assets as needed
  • Identify industry events for team participation and lead the communications needs and prep for speaking engagements
  • Sourcing and managing output of any freelance talent as required (writers etc)
  • Internal comms – ensuring our output aligns with the wider business’s goals (US & Global Sponsorship, Stakeholder, Corporate comms) and handling all required corporate approvals
  • Internal comms – coordinate and organise bi-weekly department wide meetings, liaise with UK public affairs team on monthly calls, weekly calls with global sponsorship communications team in the US.
