Job description

Company Description

Mamacita Foundation is a Scottish registered non-governmental organization dedicated to the integration, inclusion, and support of immigrants in Aberdeen. We host weekly pop-in/food bank sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays, bringing together local and immigrant communities. Our foundation also provides emergency food banks on Sundays for disadvantaged community members and organizes monthly meet and greet events. Additionally, we run a CV/job clinic to aid our back-to-work project and support a youth platform to address the social and cultural adaptation of young immigrants.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role for a Volunteering Champion, located on-site in Aberdeen. The Volunteering Champion will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the foundation's weekly community engagement activities. This role involves hands-on support and interaction with community members, ensuring smooth operation and positive experiences for all participants.
