East London Waterworks Park is seeking volunteer managers to develop and oversee meaningful and sustainable volunteer experiences.

Your leadership will coordinate a diverse volunteer team, including architects, ecologists, teachers, community researchers, and communication strategists. What will you be doing?

We are transforming the 14-acre Thames Water Depot into a biodiverse park with natural swimming ponds, forest schools, and community spaces, having raised £2m for land acquisition. Volunteer managers will contribute to our community-led working group, developing and managing volunteer experiences. Opportunities include leading projects in communications and governance, and facilitating group direction. The Comms Circle meets biweekly on Tuesdays via Google Meet, with voluntary tasks outside meetings.
