Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Trustee to join our team and contribute to our mission of helping animals in need.

What difference will you make?

We cover a large area in the North East of England within the Sunderland, Hartlepool and South Tyneside district and fundraise within this area. The animal welfare services that we offer include:

  • Subsidised microchipping, neutering and emergency treatment for owned animals
  • Advice and education
  • Pet food bank
  • Vet clinic days
  • Seminars

As one of our trustees, you will support and shape our charitable work and strategic direction to help us achieve our goals in increasing the quality of animal welfare within the Sunderland, Hartlepool and South Tyneside areas. This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our work in animal welfare. You will have a real opportunity to use your skills to benefit the community and protect animals.

What are we looking for?

We welcome applications from people of all social and cultural backgrounds who are passionate about improving animal welfare. Experience as a trustee or chairperson is beneficial. We are particularly interested in candidates with knowledge or experience in:
