Since we were established in 2013, DataKind UK’s staff team and community of expert volunteers have worked on more than 100 projects and supported hundreds of third sector organisations (charities, community interest companies, public sector services, and more). By matching organisations with data professionals who give their time and expertise for free, we have provided more than £4.5 million in pro bono support hours.

An appreciation of how data, data science, and AI can be used to advance the work of charities in the UK. Previous charity board experience and an understanding of how small charities operate.
